Event Details

  • The event will be held in two phases
  • First phase
  • Teams are required to submit a well researched article arguing either for or against any one, two or all of the topics provided at Debate Topics link
  • However, each team can submit only one article per topic
  • The document (in pdf/doc format) must be uploaded at treatise.iimlmanfest.com (submit entry link) and mailed to treatise@iimlmanfest.com in and must be named as _.pdf/doc
  • E.g. For a team named Halo submitting an article on the first topic, the document must be named as: 1_Halo.pdf

  • Select articles will be published on the Treatise portal after submission
  • On the basis of the submissions, the top 7 teams will be shortlisted for the final round
  • Second phase – details provided in the attached document
  • The winners will be declared as “International Thought Champions”
  • Prizes: Winning Team: INR 50,000 | Runners-up: INR 20,000 | Phase 2 Comment prizes worth INR 5,000
    Participation

  • Participation in this event is open to all, irrespective of occupation, age and nationality
  • Participants are required to form teams of up to 3 members
  • Members of a team need not be from the same institute/organization
  • One participant can be a member of only one team
  • Registration is not required for participation
